Please fill out a contact form as soon as you have a date in mind for your picnic. If additional information is needed, we will set up a quick call or email thread to finalize any details. An invoice will be sent over via email with the full price breakdown and contract. The signed contract and 50% deposit will lock you in for your desired date and time! Additional instructions will be provided after booking and closer to the date of your picnic. We will do our best to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.
We are currently taking bookings up to two months in advance and based on availability. If you are interested in booking a picnic less than three days away, please understand that we may not be able to accommodate with such short notice. Check out our Instagram page for any last-minute availability! Unfortunately, we cannot tentatively hold or guarantee a specific timeslot without a 50% deposit. Please double check your date and time works for everyone attending the picnic, as rescheduling will also be based on availability.
We are currently offering picnics within a 25 mile radius of Washington, D.C. Please contact us for more information and pricing on locations further out. We are happy to travel a little further for a small fee!
We have provided a list of recommended public parks in the area, but we are open to new locations! We ask that your location is easily accessible by car so we can unload equipment nearby – a five- or ten-minute walk is no big deal! Please also be aware of any local laws or restrictions at the desired location before booking: no dogs allowed, park closes at sunset, no picnic tables, no music, etc.
A few other important factors to consider before selecting a location for your picnic include:
- Are there public restrooms nearby?
- Is this area known to be overcrowded and will this affect our experience?
- If it’s rained recently, will the area be super muddy or flooded? (Hint Hint: Old Town, Alexandria)
- Will we be able to find parking?
We understand how unpredictable the weather can be! Please keep an eye on the forecast a few days leading up to your picnic. If it’s looking like there is a high chance of rain, let us know if you’d feel more comfortable rescheduling for another day. If the weather takes a turn for the worse on the day of, we will communicate with you ASAP if we believe it’s unsafe to host the picnic that day.
You are welcome to bring your own food and/or drinks to the picnic! We do provide snacks and beverages with every picnic, as well as optional enhancements. We also offer pick-up service to have your favorite take out or fast food waiting for you at the picnic for a small fee. Please refrain from feeding food to wild animals and please do not litter!
We are flexible with rescheduling, but please note – we do not issue refunds once your deposit has been paid. Please communicate any changes in your schedule as soon as possible so we can find a new date for your picnic and reopen the availability for your original picnic date. We will not be able to reschedule picnics within 48 hours of your scheduled date and time, unless it is weather related.
Please remember that it can get hot and/or humid in the Spring/Summer months! Be conscious of this when booking/deciding to reschedule. Unfortunately, heat and/or humidity will not be a justifiable reason to reschedule within 48 hours.
Communication is key! Let us know as soon as possible if you are running behind – we know how traffic can get in this area. We offer a fifteen-minute grace period and will stick around until you arrive. We will not cancel the picnic if you’re running more than fifteen minutes late, but it will cut into your time. Day of extensions are based on availability and cost an additional $50 per hour – unfortunately, we will not be able to extend evening picnics if the park is closing. We understand things come up! If you need to leave early, please provide at least thirty minutes notice for us to get back to the picnic site before you leave. The picnic set up should not be left unattended for any reason.
Yes, of course! Please let us know of any dietary restrictions or allergies upon booking. Even if it’s just a food you really don’t like – let us know and we can accommodate. Additional fees may apply, depending on the accommodations needed.
Planning a picnic is a safe alternative for indoor dining and other typical date ideas! We carefully select a spot that allows for you to socially distance from others and enjoy the fresh air. Gloves and masks are worn while setting up/cleaning up the picnic and when handling any food or beverage. The décor and furniture are sanitized before and after each picnic and all dished/utensils are ran through the dishwasher. Please let us know if you’d prefer disposable utensils!
Just be honest and let us know if something breaks or gets damaged during your picnic. We understand things happen, but we don’t want to injure ourselves cleaning up due to broken glass, splintered wood, etc. Please be careful and considerate of our décor during your picnic!

After finalizing all the details, you’ll be sent a link to sign a contract. The contract and a 50% deposit will lock you in for your desired date and time!
The final payment is due no later than 48 hours before your picnic – don’t worry, we’ll send out a reminder. Now you’re all set to enjoy your luxury picnic!
